This pandemic is not a crisis that only affects certain people; the whole of South Africa has been plunged into a crisis.
All businesses have been hit hard, but unlike the virus, government is going to look at your race and discriminate against you based on your skin colour.
In effect, government has made it unlawful for white people to own a smaller-sized business. Government ordered all businesses to close their doors but will only fund and help those who meet their race requirements. Solidarity and Afriforum has already appealed to the Constitutional Court to ensure that justice prevails over blatant racial discrimination. This case is but one battle in our war against government’s racism. We have to take it further. The whole world must realise what the government is up to every day and the government must be held accountable.
Solidarity is taking a stand. We are heading to the highest authorities in the world to lay charges against the South African government. We are going to file a complaint with the United Nations’ Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD). The whole world must know.
