AT THE FOREFRONT OF PROGRESS AND INNOVATION FOR 115 YEARS
What does it take for an organisation to survive in South Africa for 115 years? Principled innovation. In the words of former President Paul Kruger, this implies taking the best from the past and building the future on that.
While the influence of almost all other trade unions in South Africa is still limited to a show of force during violent strikes, Solidarity has chosen to exert its influence by providing excellent information based on research, and for a long time now we have mobilised by means of modern technology and the latest media platforms. Therefore we weigh more that we count, and we remain a significant role-player in the labour relations arena despite the fact that we represent the minority.
Solidarity’s brand-new membership app is here!
Once again a first for any trade union in South Africa.
