Terms and Conditions

  1. The rules and information on this competition page form part of the terms and conditions for entry and participation in the competition.
  2. Participation in the competition implies that all terms, rules and conditions have been accepted.
  3. Neither staff members of Solidarity or any of its institutions, nor family members of staff members are permitted to enter the competition.
  4. To be eligible for the prize, you must complete your and your spouse’s personal details in the competition entry form and your spouse must join Solidarity.
  5. A member and his/her “spouse” need not be married to enter the competition.
  6. Solidarity reserves the right to interview the winner and to take and publish photographs of the winner. The prize-winner will be announced and published in Solder, on Solidarity’s Facebook page, on the website at www.solidariteit.co.za and in Solidarity Magazine.
  7. All entries become the property of the Solidarity Movement and will be captured in a database for future promotions. Participation in this competition implies consent to be contacted by Solidarity.
  8. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
  9. All participants indemnify the Solidarity Movement as well as all sponsors and agencies involved in this promotion against any damages and/or costs arising from claims by the participant due to participating in the competition and/or utilising the prize.
  10. Only one entry per member will be accepted.
  11. The competition will run from 16 February to 19 June 2015.
  12. To be eligible for the prize, your and your spouse’s Solidarity subscriptions must be fully paid up at the time of the prize-drawing.
  13. If Solidarity is unsuccessful in contacting a prize-winner within five working days after the final prize-drawing by e-mail or telephonically, another winner will be appointed.
  14. A prize-winner will be appointed on 23 June 2015 and notified telephonically. The prize-winner will be announced in Solidarity Magazine on 23 August.
  15. Solidarity will not be responsible for any technical error which may lead to an entry not being submitted successfully. Solidarity accepts no responsibility for undelivered, missing or delayed entries. Proof that an entry was sent does not constitute proof that it has been received. It is the entrant’s responsibility to confirm receipt of his/her entry.
  16. The member accepts the terms and conditions that are applicable to Flight Centre’s gift voucher.
  17. The gift voucher cannot be exchanged for cash.
